Linda's Bio

Linda Pistun is an 11-year-old author, entrepreneur, science communicator, and 10th grade student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. Linda is also the founder and CEO of Linda’s Lab, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to improve science education and end world hunger through insect protein.

Linda is the author of Linda and the Mysterious Footprints, a children’s book that teaches the scientific method, environmental stewardship, and the value of community service.

As a Caroline D. Bradley Scholar, Davidson Young Scholar, and National STEM Champion, Linda enjoys speaking about science, opportunities for girls in STEM, and the importance of dreaming big. Linda has most recently appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, PBS NewsHour, and FOX Weather.
